This video covers how to replace heat shields and fuel injectors when fixing the Heat Soak cylinder 3 misfire problem on Jeep 4.0 L engines.

I’m not a certified mechanic, but this is A WAY to do this project.

Thanks for the tutorial! I have a jeep grand cherokee 2004 4.0 that will start for 3min and then shut off sometimes i have to wait an hour before it gives me another 3min have you ever dealt with a similar problem?

I have p303 misfire as well. I replaced the spark plugs , still misfiring. I’m assuming I have the same issue.

Great video. Thanks. I just bought my first Jeep last month and am learning the ropes of how to work on it. I have a intermittent cyl 6 misfire when idling. Thinking the injector is gunked up with sand as my jeep just recently came to east coast from Cali. Going to do the 4 hole injector upgrade.
