Hey WiBBiters!
Check out this video where Kevin takes a retro Atari Jaguar video gaming console with no power and brings it back to life!
Some basic skills are required, but pretty much anyone that is motivated can do this.
Below are links to the specialty items used in the video. Other than that, just make sure you have a good soldering iron and moderate skill. If you’re new to soldering you should find a few things to practice on first.
Enjoy, and good luck with your repair!!!!!!!

question User plugged wrong power and "saw smoke" I replaced a u38 REG1 and C134…but now power stays on…the power button turns on/off sound…and I only get a B&W picture now…but game works. Any advice?
My system passed the visual inspection. I need to find a way to test with a multi-meter 🙂 If the system were as good as fixing systems, I would play it way more! What a wonky controller.
Wondering if soldering every pin is necessary? could you solder as many as needed to keep the chip in place & be fine?
Ill give you credit for showing people how to do this who havent purchased a hot air station. but man, you need to upgrade your equipment.
