Anyone know where I can get a good service for an 95 X300 in the oxford area. ??

Dutch Van Helsing says:

I have oatmeal headliner for any XJ and also 2 cans of spray glue. Just did mine myself with the original liner. It can be bent back in. If it bends to much the contact glue will stick it to the inside of the roof.. Easy Peasey . £50 plus postage…say £ 60 in total . I have never done it before and it looks great..

Simon Stringer says:

Hi Brian, thanks very much for your reply. I've been onto Jaguarheadlinings and the one they sell on ebay for 180 total is different to the one they sell on their website for 255 in that it's an exact match specially made fabric from Italy they tell me rather than off the shelf fabric and it's more flexible although they tell me the ebay one will still bend enough to get in through back door. I don't mind as long as it's close but both the oatmeal ones of website and ebay look a lot darker than my light headlining and wondered whether it was just the light. Yours does look like mine though, so maybe I should just go for it. Cheers Simon

Thanks for making the video. My beloved 1998 X308 has just suddenly got sagging roof lining. It doesn't look too difficult to replace, just a bit fiddly. So you don't have to remove door weather strip before front trim as JTIS manual says to do or completely remove rear trim, just loosen the front bit of rear trim? Do you tape sensors backing to rear and just clip sensor into it. I don't want to start the job and find I can't do it! I saw the headlining at jag headings.com and was £166 plus shipping plus tax came to £254, but seems the same company is selling the same lining on ebay for £150 plus £30 shipping.

hi Jag fans. excellent video and gives me a ray of hope that i don,t have to take the windows out for a repair. Other job is the heating valve … so if you give me a link I would be grateful.

John Ward says:

Those little metal capped screws are good for a quick fix.

Chris Lyon says:

Where did you get that headlining from?

Melvin Cabrera says:

I removed the intake, throttle body, and termostat housing. I replaced the intake gaskets and the termostat housing. I put everything back together and my car is running rough and wont stay on. Any ideas?

Entjik Jeffrie says:

Thank you for making the video. I had 3 Jaguar XJRs. 1999, 2002 Jaguar XJR 100 & 2004. The 1999 & 2002 had the sagging issue.
