So I had the caliper off the rotor and turned off the car before unplugging the clip and the caliper piston came all the way out. Try the steps in your video and many other think like recalibrating the parking brake. I cannot get the caliper piston all the way in, it will go in 3/4 and stops. Even with more attempts with the battery wire touches…..any advice??

Lee Habbershon says:

Awesome helped me do it easily!! Thanks

Jevgeni Dudinov says:

You dont need to use external battery to push out brake cylinder
Press accelerator all the way down and press START button then press and hold parking brake button for 4 seconds, it will initiate service position of brakes, to undo repeat procedure.

Keith Bowers says:

Hello, just wanted to say thanks from the UK for putting this video up. I’m an ex mechanic but retired now. Electric parking brakes weren’t invented when I was on the tools! Anyway changed the discs (rotors) and pads on my FPace this morning no problem with help from your video. Thank you!
