How to Replace a Water Pump on a 2010-14 Jaguar XKR (X150)

After 9 years and about 65,000 miles the water pump in my 2010 Jaguar XKR needs replacing. Follow along with the process and save about $1,000 in repair costs. Or break a bunch of things like I did and only save about $700.

The workshop manual I used can be found here: http://www.redlightning.net/resources/XKWorkshopManual.pdf

This tutorial works for 5.0L Supercharged Jaguar XKRs from 2010-2014, and with slight alterations (different cars have different air intakes) can be used on other vehicles powered by the AJ-V8 Gen III (AJ133) engine like the XFR, XJ V8 SC, and Range Rover / Range Rover Sport V8 SC.

Very helpful indeed. There are not many people working on these XKs on YouTube…

Hi trust Me I'm An Idiot, (not). Want to thank you for the video, I thought that some of the mount bolts were under the pulley. With your instruction the job was easier than I thought. Thanks Pat
