Hello. Thanks for your service. I enjoyed the video.
I have X260 XF. Sadly, I spilled coffee.
Can you tell me how to remove the DSC button?

David Clark says:

That's absolutely brilliant that!

Lawrence Tebogo Setlhabi says:

Hellow Hilton. Im trying to wrap the chrome bits( Rear, windows, lower front bumper) on my Jag XF 2009 with a black wrap. Can you show how to remove them.

Ken Lees says:

Brilliant very professional looking job I think having the confidence to remove the trim is the key

Your bravery is an inspiration to us all.

I can't believe it's not wood, and if you hadn't uploaded this video and just said that you had real wood installed, it would've fooled a lot of viewers. Yes, there's some people who may criticize it and say vinyl is tacky, but I'm hard pushed to tell the difference with this stuff. It looks genuine, and if it feels genuine, that's gotta be a win. There's nothing tacky about it. If anything's tacky, it's the piano black s**t they put in modern cars now, including luxury manufacturers. My Dad's 2018 Mercedes-Benz E'class has got piano black plastic trim, which has already picked up some marks after just 19,000 miles. He's getting it wrapped.

I've got a 2012 XF Premium Luxury, so an early facelift car. Even though it's a lot older than the Mercedes, it's far better and more luxurious. If you do decide to get back in an older XF, it's definitely worth getting a decent warranty. One that covers the electrical gremlins these things can suffer as well. The LED taillights tend to fail when the car reaches a certain age. Both of mine went, but the warranty saved my ass. In the UK they cost about £400 to replace, and they'd probably be more where you are because of shipping. I've also had a "Battery not charging" light appear twice. That was really worrying because I thought it was the alternator. I just left it alone and have not seen the warning since Xmas time, so probably just a case of a car that cries wolf, not unlike a lot of JLR vehicles.
