I have an infrequent, intermittent rattling from the Sunroof on mine. I think it's a loose headlining clip as it stops if you push lightly on the headlining behind the closed sunroof. I dare not attempt to solve it though. It's been there since about 10Ks mark.
I tried getting the dealer to fix it but as these things are it never played up whenever they had it for service. 🙁

before watching the video it must be something you did to the car whilst you modified something 😀 i prefer your previous XF, the newer model

You helping us with the disassembly process is really a godsend. Another top-notch video, Hilton. Thank you.

Well done and thank you for letting us into this fix, have you done a video or do you or any of your viewers know a fix for this models dreadfully weak windscreen washers?, any advice would be really appreciated, kind regards

Diecast Powder Coating says:

Great video Hilton. That's exactly the same problem I had with my MK 1. It's a very annoying rattle, so I'm glad I've done it.
Still got one rattle, somewhere near the steering wheel end of the column. It does do it all the time, but it difficult to find as it only happens when driving. I'm sure I will find it some day.
Take care, Jeff

Thanks for the instructions Hilton, hopefully I will not need. Do have a question, I lost my Bluetooth connection, meaning the BT receiver endlessly searches for my phone, but never pairs? It's not my phone since it works with my wife's GLE 350. Lucky I purchased a warranty, it's going back to the dealer next week.
