Coolant line replacement: 45 to 60 minutes ($140 / $240 / $350)
In this video I replaced the cross over coolant tube and the stub hose between it and the thermostat tower. It would be a good ideal to replace the thermostat and related parts at this time as well as do a coolant fluid change. This is on the base model with the 4.0 liter engine, not super charged.
Mine leaks from the bigger hose on the bottom of the revisor. It only leaks when the heater is on and car does not overheat. Any help would be appreciated thank you
That short hose always went swollen that. I've changed loads. There's special pliers for those hose clips.
I keep experiencing coolant leak even though we replace the thermostat the heat isn't coming through could it be my heater control valve? Thanks
I'm experiencing a pretty substantial coolant loss at the front of the engine (toward front of car). I had my thermostat housing replaced to the metal a few years ago. I don't see any coolant leaking from the tower or flowing in the valleys. Do you think my issue could also be what your issue was?
Love your video and the step by step instruction. Please keep posting this saved me so much money on my jag as well. 🙂
I'm trying to remove a hose that has a weird clip its plastic going into metal tube have not way to disengage it. any thoughts?
Smashing job robert 😀
You have made it like nothing had ever happened, professional 😀
I bet it worked perfect.
How to double your viewership. 1. List it as comedy. 2. How not to fix your volvo. Well we love you anyway, God knowns you try. Thank you.
