Stand on your head.

they have now many reliable easier ways to splice wires. try solder seal wire connectors.

russell crawford says:

Rodents can do some crazy things to vehicles. Customer had her Cadillac towed in because it died at stops. The entire fresh air intake was packed full of dry dog food. Seriously, not another chunk could fit in it.
Turned out it was her deceased husband's car she kept in her garage and hardly used it. She also stored dog food in the garage

James Carter says:

Wonderful video, thank you.

TheJuggalo1491 says:

The way it is double loomed and the way it is taped. I would think some one has been in there before you.

Michael Pressman says:

E-Z Ward says:

Europeans are like Americans when it comes building cars, we both are incapable of building a reliable automobile the Japanese run circles around us both, they take pride in automobiles they build its embarrassing how crappy our cars are the Germans do ok sometimes but for the most part we build cheap crazy junk.

Scott Ward says:

I have watch a lot of your soldering and nothing wrong with it. But if you would brush on some Rosin Paste Flux to the wires, using any of your methods, you will look like a pro. The flux paste really makes the solder run in even when using flux core solder. I use both.

Danny R says:

Good ole GM. Parts are always readily available

Daddyoh says:

Excellent troubleshooting and work Ray. Highly professional Mechanic/Technician

derek haydon says:

Nice to see you work on an English car for a change. We don't see many American cars over here because our country lanes don't suit. Thats going back to the larger, big v8 cars of the 60's. The narrow , steep cambers used to twist the chassis driving on our country lanes. Keep up the good work!

Gatnos says:

Soldering irons work better when they are clean.

Gatnos says:

Ray, if a critter ate those wires, what else did they find appetizing?

my surly trucker says:

Opinions are like ass holes and let's just say there's a lot of opinions on the Internet.

Scoobydoo'd Andy says:

I think in this case it was a Frenching Mouse. They prefer the smooth look hence why the wire was removed flush with the connector and loom. Either that or a normal mouse and it was in its way…

Pinkjedi666 says:

THOW’s
Tiny Homes On Wheels.
As compared to the less desirable moniker of THOT’s
(Tiny Homes On Trailers).

Everybody knows the danger of dealing with THOT’s.
