How do i clean the S (sport) buton ? the S buton just right next to the Gear, i've dropped coca-cola on the S buton and is so sticky that when i press it down it can barely come up again

Hi, i have 03 s type too and I purchased a floorshifter from the ebay cause mine is always give a click sound in everytime when i step onto the break pedal. The click sound is what you hearing when the gear selector in p mode. But mine is doing in every gear. How can i remove the console?
i have problem its no red light on any gear. only green light on. and code p1643.
