Howdy! In this video I show how exactly I mounted my Smittybilt Defender roof rack onto the roof of my Isuzu Trooper. The final product is great and I definitely can’t recommend it more, for the price its a great deal. And build quality is great. Zero complaints!

where can i get the roof rack brackets that mount to the roof itself?
The rack on my Trooper is very similar to yours. I installed a universal rack fairing on the front, and the wind noise disappeared. A couple of years after installing it, I took it off, and IMMEDIATELY noticed how much wind noise there was without it. forgive two questions, when you remove the plastic roof already had the 2 fixing screws? or did you do them? how do you recommend putting a ladder in the back door as seen in your trooper
Same rack I have. My weatherstripping is gone but I have some plastic retainers left I think if you ever need them
