I’ve now got the GME XRS 370 antenna setup with spring base so I can swap out whips easy as old uhf was mounted in dash under CD player / fm stereo, had to have an antenna splitter that was accessible turn knob between Antenna I needed to use .

* AE4704B 2.1 dB perfect for barringtops NSW and Similar terrain plus also city driving too
* Aw4706B black 8.1db 2100mm whip – use that one when drove west coast of WA , Nullarbor plain to port Augusta SA , also from port headland via darwin , Katherine , tenaent creek and over to Mt Isa QLD ,
* Also have the Aw4705B black 6.6db 1050mm too and use it up and down east coast on main highways.

Using the XRS connect app and XRS connect
location services app – only issue is only works when your crew are using XRS 330 or 370!z

When I had the GME tx series uhf had an older 6.6 1m antenna pus a Uniden 3.0 db both on bull bar . Both antennas were great did what I needed . Also discovered that my mobile phone antenna needs at least 350mm space between your UHF .

For first time after install of XRS 330/370!-Don’t forget after u download XRS connect app.

Turn on Bluetooth on hand set then open app and tap radios

Search for ur XRS330 once’s connected
Go gone page and down button of the app tape write to radio and once down asks u to read radio data – tap Yes.

Then it will sync data .

Once done u can adjust zones , scanning from app once made your new settings make sure you tap Write to radio .

Nice radio mate i have 1 of these units too it has a back track feature, last call memory and its Bluetooth which is good "don't forget to download the app", I have my mike attached with a magnetic holder which is heaps better i think, i also used the mike cable extender and mounted it under the cigarette socket so i can un plug it when I'm not using the car "thieves love these radios. Good to see you back downgraded to the Isuzu from the patrol i see, lol. Nice Vid Bruv…

Eddy, I have a few suggestions, how ever, i have been thinking about upgrading to the same model. I might just go ahead and do it now….. have u thought of running ur handset through the center console using a rubber gromet. i say this because i did that with my current radio and foud you can hide any un-needed cabling. you may find you dont even need the extension.

KC Tan says:

good girth…lol

Jack Magee says:

"It's got a good girth to it, that thing" choice bit of words!
