How to Replace an Air Filter || Isuzu Mu-x + D-Max Tutorial || DIY 4WD Maintenance ||

G’day Guys and Gals!

In this video I show you all of the steps necessary to replace the Air Filter in your Isuzu D-max or Mu-x.

Replacing the Air filter is one of the easiest jobs you will carry out on your vehicle. It requires no tools and can easily be carried out in under 5 minutes.

I used a RYCO replacement air filter. Ryco filters are a good quality aftermarket filter.

The Air filter sits in the intake system between the main air intake and the turbo to remove all of the contaminants from the air before it enters your intake system. The Air filter removes dust, dirt, bugs and all types of contaminants from the intake air.

I have fitted every modification to the MU-X myself and really enjoy filming and teaching you guys how to do the same to your own 4×4 vehicles. The modifications I have done are listed below –
-AFN Bull Bar

Hi nick have you ever thought about putting an aftermarket transmission cooler on the MUX, I have a DMax 2019 and tow a camper trailer, not sure which way to go , what are your thoughts mate ?

Michael Mears says:

Much easier than the Colorado. It's a cylinder type with three 10mm bolts at the front. Such a pain when all you want to do is a quick look to check the condition of the filter. Maybe I can retro-fit a D-Max or Mu-x air box?

Mar H says:

Nice explanations Nick, probably the shortest vid i have seen you do lol, keep them coming.
