at 5:44 what part did he remove

Troy Thibodeaux says:

Thanks for the vid. I have a 2006 GMC Envoy and this video made it quick
and simple for me to change my plugs. I’m not the most handy person under
the hood, but this was a piece of cake.

I did not removed the air cleaner, and I didn’t have to remove that thing
blocking the first plug. The 4th and 5th plugs were a bit hard to reach,
but even those were not bad at all.

The worst part was that O’Reilly gave me 6 plugs, but charged me for 8, so
I had to go back and straighten that out. Counting is not their strong suit
I guess.

Have a Bob Saget happy day.

Carl Brooks says:

Robrod60 says:

So I did it my self & broke a coil bolt!!! What do I do know??? I’m gonna
need to rethread??$$$$ how much would that cost??

Andy G says:

this seems pretty easy compared to my sisters dodge stratus with the 2.5
v6… had to take the intake manifold and throttle body off 😀 took 6 hours
and a lot of cussing but hay plugs and wires got changed!

kerobinsonii says:

But they are better than Champion !

kerobinsonii says:

Honestly I wanted NGK Platinum but the parts house was out. I have used
Bosh in the past, no real problems but we will see. I probably should have
just ordered the AC Delco’s but I did not want to wait. Chase is feeling
fine now. Thanks for the well wishes and watching.

john smith says:

o yea and not a bad job on your paint job either man i paint bikes urr
motorcycles for the most part as a extra money thing more air brushing than
any thing wish i could post vids but my pocket book is dickerd eazy to
paint bike parts small area if you fuck it up its not a lot of work to
start over

Ridge97 says:

go back to sleep..LOL cheech it yea

kerobinsonii says:

Yeap the Bosch are crap. But the local O’Reily was out of the AC Delco’s.
The motor was suffering from a misfire already. So I had to do something!
Heck they didn’t even have NGK iridium’s in stock ! The misfire video
hasn’t been uploaded yet. Youtube got my release sheadule messed up!

kerobinsonii says:

Thanks! I tried to keep it PG-13 LOL !

MunchkinBox12 says:

Thanks for the video, however when I tried taking the coils off, the bolts
snapped off inside the head. FUDGE STICKS! It snapped off on two of the
first three, now I’ve got to take it to a mechanic to have the bolts
drilled out. I don’t know if I’m going to risk it to the other 3, I don’t
want to have to have the head removed to fix the other three bolts if they
snap off since there would be no room to do it in with the head in that
position.

john smith says:

glad to see chase out and about hope he feels better and i have never had
any luck with those botch plugs you put in beg my pard hope they work out
for you

OVI-Wan Kenobi says:

Why AC Delco? What’s wrong with the platinum Bosch spark plugs?

HuckThis1971 says:

redneck2010ize says:

Hahaha CRS iv’e been called that by me own mother she would yell hey CRS
come here lmfao!!! yup its darn cold right now i want 80 degree weather an
i hate my stepfather asking for my tools to use i gotta go looking for them
an ask were they are when i need them even power tools lmfao!!!

Matthew H says:

Very helpfull thx gonna change my 04 trailblazer wish me luck!!!!!!

OVI-Wan Kenobi says:

I bought some Bosch Platinum+4 spark plugs that I’m gonna try out on my 02
Chevy TB. I went with Bosch platinums because they’re already pre-gapped &
I’m too freakin’ lazy to adjust the gap. Plus I thought that the 4
electrodes looked cool LOL! This is my suspicion about spark plugs:
Champion plugs (made in USA) are for American vehicles, Bosch plugs (made
in Germany) are for German vehicles, NGK plugs (made in Japan) are for
Japanese vehicles.

Adrien Evol says:

The heads of the bolts snapped off when trying to loosen them? Never heard
of that unless the previous mechanic over torqued them and you came along
trying to apply the required force to loosen them.

kerobinsonii says:

It is one of my pet peeves for people not to put things back where they got
them from! My CRS is cronic! LOL!

kerobinsonii says:

Sorry to hear that!

Kindahuge says:

About to do this on my Envoy, thanks for the upload sir!

David Kim says:

Hi, question about the wire harness over coil #1: when you pry it up with
the door panel tool, does that break the clips? Is there any way to move
the harness without breaking any clips? Thanks.

BRIAN FARRELL says:

after watching yr video on here,i did this on my envoy. #6 spark plug was
insane to switch. I cracked the plug while getting it out. I still have
cylinder #3 misfire. im going to change the coil next week.

kerobinsonii says:

I’ll take your word for it! Charlotte Douglas International Airport is less
than 20 miles away. It’s the 9th busiest in the US and I believe 24th
busiest in the world. Lot’s of air traffic around here ! I have plumbed
some if the new terminals, it was a pain to get my security clearance. They
did not like it when I handed them my birth certificate and it is in
German!

kerobinsonii says:

Loads of power ans it loves gas ! 275HP. It is one of the smoothest truck
engines I have seen.

kerobinsonii says:

Blub Blub Blub 10fukn4! #1

kerobinsonii says:

Yes they did! The bastards! LOL !
