Infiniti G37 Sedan – How to Install Rev9 Hyper Street 2 Coilovers & Godspeed Rear Toe Bucket Delete

***UPDATE – these coilovers only lasted me only 2 months, got BC Racing coilovers instead, here’s the Install video***
https://youtu.be/-uDE3amgXCs

I finally drop the G, I went with Rev9 Hyper Street II Coilovers and Godspeed Rear Toe Arms W/ Bucket Delete. For the price of both items, I’m very happy so far. I decided to with a 1.2″ drop at the front and 0.8″ in the rear and it came out perfect for me.

Pros: Both items Cheap in price, but good quality, Coilovers adjustable height. Rear toe arms gives some extra toe adjustment, not sure you ever need it, but there if needed. Much improve handling around corners and much better launches from a dig.

Cons: These are stiff and gets some getting used to, if you live in an area where the roads are always jacked up, these are not for you LOL. The rears are way stiffer then the fronts, I left the stiffness alone at the rear, but had to go 25 clicks at the front to get the spring rebound more even all around. This has cause the front to make some clunking noises, I’m sure it has to do with the spring tension adjustment needing to be just a bit tighter. Going to call Rev9 and discuss this with them to get some kind of solution, will report what happens in a later video.

Jack Brown says:

i just put these on my 2001 corolla and i had to pull my rear fenders out to the max . i had the rear at the highest setting but still had mad scraping on my 8" rims. just fyi to those out there. i'm happy with these for sure. bang for the buck

Torvarris Evans says:

Hey bro any update on the rev 9 , am still thinking about buying them . How they are holding up

Memo's Garage AZ says:

Have an update on these Rev9 coilovers. I had just gotten to the Omega Motorsports AZ 1/2 mile racing event, and hit a pothole and the driver's side started to make the loudest clucking noise so far. Took the wheel off and found the issue, there is a small plate that holds the top of the shock to the top hat, there's about 4-5 small allan style screws and I'm missing almost all of them. So I'll be making a video on how to fix this, and how to get rid of that clunking noise everyone has with these coilovers.

Andrae Brown says:

Lite the weird noise coming out the back of the car

Torvarris Evans says:

Nice bro , I have a G37s coupe. what you still recommend these at this point . Thank you in advance

Stephen Chham says:

Hey bro i tighten my preload a little more it still makes a clunking noise from the passenger side. Smh?? Idk bro everything is good and tight! And funny thing is now my alignment is a little off we’ll it feels a little off then before. Idk?? Maybe it’s just the car and not the coil overs…

Stephen Chham says:

Hey bro I have the same coilovers on my g37 sedan. I was wondering does yours make any noises?

Tmpr23 says:

how the coils holding up?

John Savage says:
