Excellent video, with your step by step instructions I can do this with complete confidence. Headed to HD to find the Rust-Oleum product in hopefully a Flat or at least Satin black. Thanks for the great video.

Angel Lopez says:

for those that dont like that glossy black, if you scuff the gray , there is the satin black plastic under that, perfectly matches the original look. so, scuff the top damaged black , then scuff the ugly gray, finally at the black level which will not be scratchable again.

Nice video man, I have several questions about trim removal.
I own 08 G35ss.

1. If I disconnect battery terminal before I remove the steering wheel, will I be able to pop up the hood even after disconnecting battery terminal? (the reason why I'm asking is that I want to close hood while I wrap the steering wheel trim and wondering if it's possible to pop up the hood even battery is out)

2. What size of wrench socket do I need when I remove negative terminal battery ?

Geon Kim says:

Is it possible to lock the car after removing negative battery terminal? Because I will fix the trim at my home….

Gary liang says:

did you get high RPM idle after you disconnect your battery?

Geon Kim says:

Thanks a lot for the upload. I'm sure it helps to many infiniti owners. Thanks again
