Does the damper itself come apart? I was able to purchase what looks like only part of the damper but it doesn't look like the original comes apart like this.

A Sea Rhinocerus says:

Question for anyone who knows, do we have to depressurize the fuel line before doing this?

just here says:

How do you know you need to change the whole part and not just the rubber oring under it?

Victor S says:

about to tackle this job after noticing this damper leaking gasoline (you could hear it hissing after shutting the car off and also had noticeable fuel smell). don't feel like bbq'uing myself yet.

p.s. this job would've been 1000x easier if you could just pop the damn thing out of the line. Infiniti had to make sure you replace the full (dealer-only) line instead of a $10 part…

Chris Enright says:

Fuel dampener? Is that like a fuel pressure regulator? Same run ability issues? As in running rough cel for bank too lean and bank to rich?

Billy Yoder says:

Thank you Brian. Good job. I appreciate your videos. Have a blessed and safe week.
