Thank You so much for this video. Shop gave a quote of $250 to replace both hinges. Figured it would be worth it to avoid the hassle. I took it in for the repair and they called later and said it would actually be over $500 as bumper, headlights, and fenders had to be removed. I saw this video and felt confident to try it. Told them to get stuffed, took my car back and easily replaced the hinges following this video. I am not a car guy at all but this wasn’t that hard. Saved me a bunch of money.
i bought the hinge on amazon for $39, whole job took me about 90 minutes, sure beats payin a garage $300 lol. thanx 4 postin this vid bro!
Does anyone paint the new hinge to match original color?
Have the same problem on my g35x but it's on the opposite side and having trouble finding the part
i have a 04 g35 sedan and was wondering if the hinges on the g35 coupe are the same
Hinges on my 04 G35X have become so stiff they deformed and the hood contacts the fenders. I have new hinges and will have an easier time with the installation thanks to you.:-)
Thank you so much for this. I have the same problem as you, was in a minor fender bender and now mine keeps hitting the paint and chipping it. Was really hoping someone would make a video on how to do this and found yours. Thanks again
