@AutoRex, 2003 FX35. Started having start up problems few days ago. Put a new battery in but now it's intermittent. Starting and not starting within tries minutes apart
It's turning over/cranking fine though.
Anyone think problem also common with we '03 FX35???

Isidro Ramirez says:

Any idea where the sensor would be for the same model year 2012?

do the knowledge says:

hi what are the sysmptoms

Rali272 says:

The way I fixed my issue, I went to Home Depot and got a for sale sign. Placed it on the car window and waited about 3 weeks and the problem disappeared

SpideySensei72 says:

Same thing is happening to my 2005 350Z except the Bank 1 sensor is slightly easier to change on our engine. I'd caution against purchasing AutoZone parts though. Paid $80 for the sensor, didn't work and had wound up just ordering them all from Z1 online. Nissan apparently knows about this, but will only fix certain year/model vehicles. Everyone else is on his/her own.

Seeking Freedom says:

Nice job! Thanks for this!

Coach Adam says:

I just did this. Effing horrible job. Worst part was getting the wire disconnected from the sensor. Its not a normal type of release latch; you have to slide the release towards the sensor ALL the way then wiggle hard on them both. Its not a push or pull release clip, it slides. This part wasn't real clear in the video. Also don't drop the bolt.

petyah pererva says:

does anyone have a video of this for a vq35hr engine im trying to figure it out which sensor and bank i bought theres more then one camshaft position sensor. and i got one idk where it goes?

Unxpekted says:

Is Bank 1 same as Crankshaft sensor A?

Kimberly The Great Dane Lady says:

I'm working on my 2003 infinity as I watch and curse my wreak women fingers, I can NOT get this connector to release the old sensor. Not even worth a screw driver for added leverage. Nothing.

INTGkicks says:

Is this sensor still working for you bro now that it's been awhile since instal?

MrMichael48 says:

Man you are truly a hero on here ! The Infiniti dealership mechanics wouldn't even tell you this lol they want you to come in and give up all your money to their dealership! So thank you very much for letting us know this mechanical knowledge.

MrMichael48 says:

And on the same Infiniti FX35 you are working in your video.I have a 2008 Infiniti FX35 the cluster panel LCD on the left hand side that tells you what gear you or in is not showing up the P N or D.Could this be why me Infiniti FX35 is not starting no crank sound no nothing ?Just a blank black LCD square with no lights .But all my lights and gauges work and my LCD on the right hand side works that shows you the mileage on this cluster panel.Just the what gear you're in is not showing up!Lol I am trying my best not to have to get it towed to the dealership $$$$$$$$$ too get this fixed !All I need to know is what to do and I can fix it myself .Lol And save a lot of my money at the same time.Wow just for a neutral safety switch the dealership wants a $ 1,000 and some dollars for at .WOW no wonder they Infiniti dealership look so fancy inside and out lol!So if you can get right back with me on this .Thank you!
