Welcome back to the Ikigai Driven Channel. The alternator on my 2011 FX35 needed to be replaced as it wasn’t charging my battery at it’s full capacity. I also replaced the belts as well since the car has 90k miles and it needed some maintenance.
I got the Denso alternator from rockauto.com and I highly recommend using this brand for it’s reliability.

About to do this same job on my wife’s car and im wondering cause I’ve seen on pathfinders a couple mechanics removed the front passenger tire to access the alternator easily wondering wouldn’t it be the same on the qx60 since its somewhat the same engine? Thank you for this video though i feel more confident doing this job
Awesome video! Thank you. About to tackle the alternator on my wife’s fx35. I was wondering if you need to worry about torque specs on the bolts, specifically the tensioner pulley (14mm) after tightening the lower bolt to push it up to make the pulley tight. Thank you!
I just did this exact same job and now seeing this lol but yeah that's exactly how I went about changing it takes about 1h-1h30 with the car on ramps
That belt thing got me tripping

How to fix it back
I have 2011 infiniti fx35, and today when i was start my engine, the engine starts but dies immediately, and electric is still on, and dashboard battery light is on. Is that is battery problem or alternator problem? thanks!
