If you have ever wondered what it takes to to convert your regular Infiniti Q50 to the Q50s; you’re in the right place. This is one of the easier conversions anyone can do. The difference between two models are minimal. The bumpers have a similar shape but sport model has a more aggressive lip on the bottom. Also, the lower grille and fog light bezel are a different look. The fog lights and daytime running light are the same parts. There is no need to change out any other adjacent panels, they all line up with the the same with the Q50 and Q50 sport version.

CONVERSTION PARTS:
Q50 Sport bumper
Q50 Sport lower grille
Q50 Sport fog light bezels & 3 fog light bezel bolts (3 more than the Q50)

TOOLS NEEDED:
Socket wrench with 10mm socket, flat head screw driver and, or panel clip removal tool.

PROCESSS:
You want to start removing all of the old or re-usable parts from your original Q50. All the brackets, screws, clips, fog light, daytime running light, top grille and Infiniti emblem will transfer over. What you will not be reusing are the non-sport fog light bezel and the lower grille.

Remove all the components from your regular Q50 or damaged bumper. You want to transfer as many parts as you can to your new bumper. The Q50 is unique in having a 2nd bumper bracket on the top prongs. Most vehicles will only have this between the bumper and fender near the wheel well. Infiniti added this piece to the top for good measure. The fog lights and daytime running light are pretty easy. Just a few bolts and clips to loosen. The bumper seal or weather strip is probably easier to replace but a lot more affordable to just buy some 3m double sided stick tape and reuse your old one. Just make sure that you clean off the surface before applying the new tape. Lastly, the Q50 sport fog light bezels have 3 extra bolts. Make sure you get these because the new bezels are slight bigger than the non-sport bezels.

Awesome video! The 14-19 bumpers are interchangeable so curious to know why on the website has a 14,' 15', 16', and 17' year front bumper. Also what does it with or without sport in the bumper options mean? Does 'with sport' option include all parts??
