HOW TO: Infiniti Q50 Splitter Install | STILLEN

We go over how to properly install your STILLEN Splitter for your Infiniti Q50/Q50S.

To order your Splitter visit: https://www.stillen.com/exterior/body…

This video and our installation instructions offer important information to ensure your body styling parts are securely affixed to your vehicle. STILLEN has been manufacturing polyurethane body styling parts for almost 30 years. We’re the experts when it comes to designing, building and installing high quality aerodynamic and styling performance parts.

In our experience, when it comes to installing STILLEN polyurethane (or any other brand) of car and truck ground effects, splitters, diffusers, roof spoilers, wings, side skirts, front fascias and other body styling parts, proper preparation and careful installation makes all the difference.

A few minutes spent watching a how to install video and carefully reading installation instructions will pay off by protecting your ground effects from falling off due to improper installation.

If you have ANY doubts about your ability to install a STILLEN body styling part, we recommend you have a reputable body shop install your parts for you. HOWEVER, we strongly recommend you insist that the shop follow STILLEN instructions to the letter and use 3M adhesive prep and Wurth Clean Prep Solution.

Last but not least, where applicable, it is essential to use the included self-tapping screws to securely affix your STILLEN body styling part to your vehicle.

STILLEN body styling parts are designed and tested to ensure exact fit prior to production. Our proprietary polyurethane formula is so strong and resilient that we offer a limited lifetime warranty on materials. 99.9% of the ‘failures’ we see are due to improper installation.

The Infiniti Q50 Sedan has some aggressive front styling in the fascia, and the STILLEN Front Splitter adds depth and a fantastic look to the Q50. STILLEN Splitters are made from durable and resilient polyurethane, and increase down force to the front wheels as well as improving the look, similar to a lip spoiler.

An added benefit is an increase in airflow through the radiator, a byproduct of the high pressure zone created above the splitter as it slices through the air.

The Q50 Front Splitter comes painted in a matte black finish, ready to be installed, but you can also have it painted any color desired, some prefer to have their splitters paint matched, gloss black, etc. the choice is up to you!

One of the easiest upgrades you can make to your Infiniti Q50 with striking results!

Would you do the same process if you are replacing a Stillen Splitter with a new one due to the first braking off?

Polo Gonzalez says:

The quality of this product has gone to hell. Purchased my 2nd splitter due to damage to the 1st one. Materials on the second are different, flimsy and not rigid. Also didn't even fit.

great video overall i just wish you showed the whole bumper with the splitter installed at the end

Jay says:

At least bolt it in. Cause it would suck if u hit some debris on a freeway and your splitter hits it and next thing u know. Your splitter is part of debris out there. Just sayin folks

I have a 2016 Q50 Premium which already has Xpel film on the front bumper. Would installing the front splitter over that film be an issue?
