Yo bythewayplayer is the Legend! I’ve followed all your DIY’s -oil change,
Brembos, Diff oil. throttle body, etc… Dude keep up the great work…we
appreciate it! I’d love to learn about more stuff…thanks again bro!
very cool, I passed 30k awhile back and never thought about the diff fluid
until i read about it on g35driver. I wrote down everything I need and will
do this tomorrow, THANKS…
I just had my 05 G35 sedan with 74k miles serviced, and was just curious on
what was actually done with the car. I had the Coolant replaced,
differential fluid replaced, transmission fluid replaced, and in-cabin
micro filter replaced too.
Just a tip to anyone doing this service when the plugs are off and it
starts to drip DO NOT screw the plug in right away. You should pump some
new oil threw the diff and let it drip out the bottom because even tho you
have drained the diff there is still dirty oil inside on the walls and
gears buy letting oil run threw it will flush out any oil left behind, you
will still see some dirty oil come out when you do this, this will increase
the oil life. Also do the same when you change engine oil.
@shocker4u89 My infiniti g35 2007 sedan with 60000 miles. I used 75-90
synthetic gear fluid
What kind of Differential oil should I use on an 04 g35 coup?? I need to
change mine but don’t know what to use can someone help me out
hello can you tell me how many quarts of transmission fluid on 04 350z
thanks…………
dont forget about getting oil on your skin, any used engine oil, gearbox
oil and or diff oil can cause cancer if you allow direct contact with skin
thanks
normally, it is supposed to be changed every 30k miles
is this the same thing as transmission oil! sorry if this is a stupid
question?
@bythabayplayer great video!!! Question where can I find that pump you used
to push the oil in the differential ????
Go to AMSOil’s website. I just bought mine through them the other day. It’s
designed to fit their bottles…not sure about bottles from other brands.
Your vid is a favorite on Bogota
@treborwal No lol the 2 door is the same process.. Rear wheel drive is rear
wheel drive. There is a rear differential either way.
what synthetic cna I use specifically for an 05 automatic? it has a screwed
down dipstick. Also is that a 75 90 gear fulid?
I want this video on my Miss Sixty phone.

@jayguy173 He’s doing this DYI for free dumbass, why are you being such an
ass mongrol? You should be worried about your palms going bald instead.
@laurajdahl No
Make sure when you service the differential that the car is level (I had it
supported on all four corners with jack stands).
i use motul 300 or hd mobil 1 80-90 on my 04 g35 sport w/ l-s
differential oil changes are for the sedans only, correct?
Do you put any Teflon tape on the threads?
awesome tutorial. im assuming this is extreemely similar to my 04 350z so i
have a saturday morning errand to take care of now 🙂 i got 180k miles
Thanks for posting. I just paid the dealer WAY to much to have this done,
should have done it myself.
The girlfriend is still wondering where all the clean bath towels went
lol… Thanks good job I’ll be doing this on my 350z soon.
