This video isn’t my best work and I filmed it quite some time ago but I did want to show that the rear main seal can be done without dropping the upper oil pan if you don’t need to. I will be posting a full upper oil pan video, in the coming weeks.
Some things I do want to mention with future hindsight. I do recommend using the OEM rear main seal. Nissan 12296-31U20 but if you do choose to use the fel-pro rear main seal(BD40631) don’t use the paper gasket. Use gasket maker instead. Also I recommend using Permatex 1 minute gasket maker its very similiar to the OEM Nissan gasket maker.
