stofcall911 says:

please help !!! do i need relay harness for my FOG lights ???

Nathan Howard says:

@Randomstuff3146 below this comment lol

Nathan Howard says:

@randomstuff314 the wiring harness eliminates that issue. What it does is turn your HID’s on when it feels a current come through the stock plug and then turns them on. I had a problem with my lancer’s drls until I got a wiring harness. You should be fine! And the way you disable drls is bending one of the connectors on your ecu back. However idk which one it is on a sonata.

JabariWalker20 says:

Does that double-sided mounting tape come with the kit?

JabariWalker20 says:

Do you need the wiring harness?

SPghost718 says:

is this the same for 2013 model sonata?

SevB says:

Can you make a video for HID + Relay install for 2011/12/13 KIA Optima?

Oz K says:

Is there any answer if these will work on the new 2013 sonata, with auto sensor lights or do we have to wait…somebody please confirm??

Tom McKenna says:

No aftermarket HID kit is technically “street legal.”

kevin testa says:

arent the DRL’s in the highbeams? hids go in lows and putting them in your highs is a waste if you ask me

Shahrukh Iqbal says:

11:40 ahah chastity. if u having girl problem i feel bad for u son 😛 good vid though! really helpful.

86tubens says:

Go to shark racing website . They sell a DRL delete wiring harness that will solve this problem.

Randomstuff3146 says:

I just got a 2013 Sonata Limited, and I’m reading that Hid’s cannot be installed due to the daytime running lights, and that there is no way to pull a fuse to disconnect them? Apparently googling this up, other Sonata owners are having problems with hid kits not working cause of the drl’s.

bachmasi says:

can you make a video similar to this but on 11-12 Kia optima

aetommyboy says:

there are a lot of companies that make aftermarket kits to wire into your existing head unit. Just google it 😉

robfrmny21 says:

Yes simon

MrRugbyworld says:

Thanks for the video!!!… Do you know any video on how to change the fog lights on a sonata 2012??

simonfzhao says:

Did you guys have to use the wire clip that held the original H7 bulbs in place to hold the HID bulbs in place?

whymusticreateachan says:

in this video they are using a 9006 harness, not h7. xenonsupply sends this type of harness to you automatically if you ordered from them, but if you got your kit from someone else or bought a harness separate you will likely have an h7 harness for your h7 kit. i’m not saying there is anything wrong with this video, just giving a heads up to newbies like me who are watching this video and can’t understand why their h7 harness won’t connect to their h7 hit in the manner described in the video

progekone says:

the wiring harness process is the same on any car??

sk8rchik13ny says:

Thanks for the vid, pretty straightforward job, but just like seeing how it’s done. The other relay harness vid i seen had these little prongs you put in the light, this relay looked exactly like mine.Cake, now my Vue’s lit up with the 6000k HID’s too 🙂

progekone says:

i dont want to be pomoting any other brands but will be the same process on connecting the ballast and the wiring harness??
