Don't they call these lifetime, never done one so this was interesting, the plastic worries me one clip broken and your up for a new pump.

I know from past experience that when ordering service kits for many cars the parts supplier sometimes says it has a lifetime fuel filter in the tank (therefor not required to be changed) and then this can be confused when they say its fuel filter is in the tank…. difference being it will need changing like this video shows at some point in its life but often not done.
