Bro.. Just a question here.. If we have to connect it with steering then how can we do it. I want to connect it to hyundai getz steering but I don't have any idea.
What if i dont have a cage with the one i will replce with.?
Do you know how to pull wires from the battery in to the cabin of the car ? For subwoofer?
The light has gone from behind my heater controls, is this how you get to the bulb?
Why not use the mounting clips from the original radio like this bloke suggests? http://bobparker.net.au/mp3-05g/mp3-05g.htm Is there an advantage to tossing the hyundai factory mounting? Thx
I just unscrewed the clips off the side of the Getz head unit then attached them to the new Sony and clipped it back into the original cage ..
Glad I found this, I'm about to fit an amp, som components and a sub to my daughter's getz. It already has an aftermarket head unit but I'm going to have to pull it out and run rca's. Is there an easy way to run an 8 ga power wire through the firewall? I haven't as yet found a grommet to use.
Hey mate, is there any chance you can do a more in-depth section on the hard wiring? Is the wiring harness necessary? Thanks
My partner cracked up immediately the moment you said “we’re about to do a head unit in one of the most deceiving cars” ahhh the perks of having a Hyundai Getz hahaha!
Hello, thank you for this awesome video! Hopefully I can follow your guidance without any problem. Do you have a recommendation for Getz 2005 budget head unit with bluetooth connection?
managed to get factory cage out by just removing the glove box cable there is enough room to unscrew and flip the cage up for removal
Bit late to the party, but great video! How hard would it be to wire in the steering wheel controls to get them working with an aftermarket system?
