Parts used linked in the description below!

Watch a full tutorial as a 2012 Hyundai Sonata will have a brand new Clarion CX305 Double Din Bluetooth Radio installed. Note that this Sonata is the GLS model without the Navigation option. We will be using a Metra Wiring Harness Adapter made specifically for this Hyundai model, retaining the factory steering wheel volume controls. This video also includes the new dash bezel needed to fit a single or double din unit in the factory location.

This applies to Hyundai Sonata models for years 2011, 2012, and 2013. This video also includes dash trim and stereo removal, installation, wiring, and testing.

Do I need the aswc-1 steering controls if my radio isn’t Bluetooth?

Steven Stamey says:

I have a 2013 Hybrid Sonata and it has the touch screen with GPS and Heater control, is there an aftermarket that will allow all that to still work? The touch screen in ours died and we can see anything, no radio, GPS, back up camera, or heater controls. Before I buy a replacement factory, I would like to explore aftermarket

docco giangho says:

I can not see in your video how you connect the ASWC-1 wiring. According to Metro instruction, connect Red and Black of ASWC-1 to pin ACC and pin 17 of 24 pin socket of vehicle. But these 2 pins do not have +12V voltage, means ASWC-1 has no power to work?. Please advice where Black wire of ASWC-1 connected to.

Anthony Montero says:

Looking at buying a 2013 Sonata, great deal can't pass it up, just wanted to make sure I could install an aftermarket stereo, speakers and subwoofer. Thank you!
