Engine removal of the 3.3L V6 G6DB engine through the top. When you search in YouTube for videos on how to do the engine removal on this vehicle, it would mostly show the removal through the bottom, removing the subframe, or through the front, removing the front bumper, headlights, radiator, and everything else in the front. I’ve only found one other channel that managed to do the removal through the top with ease and I believe they did a great job.

I watched your other vids on this vehicle, and they provided a lot of information… thank you! My timing chain broke due to a bad chain tensioner, I removed the rear cylinder head to inspect for damage (no damage) and rebuilt the cylinder head with new valves and head gasket, put new chains and tensioners, and reassembled the engine. Had a timing issue which I fixed without removing the timing chain cover and moved the chain that was 2 teeth off. (I found another YT video where the gentleman did the chain adjustment without removing the timing chain cover – you need to be careful but it works!) Same vehicle, and runs nice again!
