Place something behind the cone to hold it up a bit while the glue dries. Use some wadded up paper towels, or an old rag, etc.

quick question, how long do you need to hold the cone up for while its adhering to the surround? i know you said an hour but do you mean sit there and hold it for an hour or?? please let me know

Thanks. Yes, the cone will move around a bit. this is normal since the foam is not in place to support the cone.

Hello great vid, I just ordered a refoam kit and I took the foam off my w7 my question is that the cone is a little wobbly is this normal or a issue ?

You can use Goo Gone to remove the foam and residue instead of excessive scraping. Once the Goo Gone soaks through the foam for a good amount of time, it comes off easily. I’ve done it on a w6v2
