At this point

Daniel McKee says:

Been 23 yrs Navy Spec Ops and never had a pin roll or push out on me where
did you get this?

Random Randall says:

Do they make none rotational girl’s? I need one that dose not just walk out
on me hahaa. I’m sorry! Please continue.

shawnfarand says:

great vids. Love the series. Wish there was a way you could kill the intro
when you do a series. hate it, lol.

WatchTalkForums says:

So thankful for this video. I accidentally removed the pins on my hammer
and trigger and could not have gotten them back in without it!

chris kalous says:

awsome build video, looking into building my first ar and wanted to know
how much your whole ar build cost you, i would like to do a build under the
price for what I could just buy one at a dealer but I dont want to do such
a cheap job that the thing is going to only last a couple hundred rounds
before it malfunctions

bioforce5 says:

just because he handled an m4/m16 for 12 years doesnt mean he’s ever built
one.

Dave Peace says:

The pins are overkill in my opinion, but I really appreciate the detail of
these videos. I would rather see a 12 minute video to do a simple task, vs
a 3 minute video for something that is a key component.

CTKix says:

@magurgle What do you have against KNS pins? I like my KNS pins. I
installed a set on my new rifle and it functions really well with these KNS
pins. The pins don’t walk thanks to the KNS design and they even prevent a
bit of “wobble”. My trigger actually feels noticeably different, thanx to
KNS and their pins. I will say that I called KNS about their pins and they
had great customer support. Now all my rifels use KNS non-rotational pins.
This is a non-compensated endorsement by CTKIX.

Sig Shooter says:

Where can I get one of those white things that holds the lower in place?

silentscribes says:

that’s a cool looking design on your lower

Edward Spencer says:

@magurgle What’s wrong with KNS pins? Not trying to be a dink but just
curious.

razer440 says:

Not a fan of the AR, but I have been thinking a lot lately about building
one because it looks like it would be a lot of fun to do. These video on
DIY will be a huge help. Very cool video.

Xavier says:

I love ITS and everything they do for the shooting, mil/leo, and prepping
community. the video came up in my feed with their other videos… you
should watch them all! they are great!

suzettespencer says:

Changed out the crappy stock trigger for Timney. For whatever reason, the
trigger pins loosened over a year & will not stay in place no matter how
they are inserted. Unexpected things happen when parts are no longer
mil-spec. Commercial tricked-out guns can have unexpected problems not seen
in the military world.

djstevesupreme says:

someone tell me does it matter the direction of the trigger or hammer pins

Roamingdoc says:

As usual, great video, information and production. Thanks!!!

M1ASniper says:

Good Series man, Appreciate you putting it on youtube and investing the
time to do so. I like Gen 2 .154 myself. But that’s just me.

cabbynate says:

How do you know what size KNS pins you will need? For instance I have an
LMT lower. Thanks.

Hunts4Food67 says:

Would you use KNS Precision AR-15/M16 Push Button Receiver Pin for easier
take down of your weapon, was curious.

lksteve says:

When have you EVER seen a lower receiver rendered inoperable or unsafe
because the pins rolled around too much, wearing down the pin holes? Unless
you have an automatic lower receiver AND fire in full auto regularly there
is no sense in getting these pins. It’s a solution for an *extremely* rare
*potential* problem.

Leftycraig48 says:

Ad-libbing can make you look foolish sometimes. Like “don’t let the hammer
fall under its own weight.” The hammer really has no weight, it’s the
spring pressure that can damage the receiver. A before and after test of
the trigger pull would also be nice to show why we’re going thru all this
work. I know I’m being an overly picky pain in the ass, but you’re the
teacher and I’m the student. If I’m confused at the end of your video, one
of us hasn’t done his job.

MrLoveslittlekids says:

cool video… but can u make more ur knowledgeable about so many things and
i really enjoy watching but u make one every blue moon!

chrisrut100 says:

you dont understand obviously, they arent to prevent the pin from falling
out,its to keep the pin from spinning and wearing out the reciever.the
hammer pin can move with the trigger pin!!

23jbailey says:

Get a bigger hammer twitchy fingers shouldn’t be working on any thing
mechanical or it may be he is just nervously

Xavier says:

REALLY? do you know how the trigger pins work? they have a groove in them
that locks them to the spring. The reason for these pins is to prevent the
pins from rotating and causing damage to expensive lowers (like registered
machine guns and what not) Then every mall ninja and their mother (because
mall ninjas live with mom) started saying they didn’t want their trigger
pins to “walk” out.

THE REGULATORS says:

Gotcha, I haven’t watched any of their videos other than these ones in the
AR build series, just got my first lower receiver yesterday 😀

THE REGULATORS says:

I didn’t see where he mentioned that he had built one.

gamerdude141 says:

Nice job man hey but can I ask you to put a low profile gas block on FF
rails I understand if you can’t but if you do that would be awesome

Leftycraig48 says:

Thank you. I don’t even know who you are but let’s compare credentials some
time so I can humiliate you publicly. When I watch an instructional video,
I at least expect the “instructor” to be accurate. I use something called a
lesson plan.

magurgle says:

Jeez, you get paid every time you say KNS pins, and you waste so much time
talking about those damn things

John Bear Ross says:

Thanks for the video. Fixed my function check failure problem. Flared disco
spring goes down. I had it up. I appreciate the info. Best, JBR
