2004 H2 Hummer Rear Driver-side window regulator replacement. This window regulator is an aftermarket brand purchased through amazon. I will not provide the link in the description for as I did not provide the part for this repair. The brand is Brock and they did come in a set of two for both rear passenger and driver-side windows.

Nice video. Great opportunity for time lapse. I used YouTube 2x video speed for most of this. Itβs interesting the different techniques on this repair. Another YouTuber used a suction device to hold the window up and still another used a 2×4 to keep the window up.
Im just wondering why do you think it will break again?
In another video, it was suggested that a little lubricant be sprayed on the edges of the window to keep it sliding smoothly. A graphite substance.
Thanks for taking the time to post the video. Much appreciated.
Appreciate the video and I just changed mine. – took two hours – but please don't have your back to the camera as we amateurs can't see what's going on! My local dealer quoted USD400 for the part alone – I got a new one on eBay, albeit made in China, for USD50, plus USD25 for delivery to Qatar. Dealer would have had the car for three or four days and charged about USD 3-4k in total.
Why not just buy better quality the first time instead of buy disposable parts. Cry once and not many times.
