Hi Jim
We have a 2002 CR V and have a p/s problem.
One morning, I started the engine and when I'm about to go, the steering wheel was stiff and so heavy
to turn with a very unusual noise.
I pop the hood and saw the the p/s reservoir covered with foaming fluid.
I just replaced the fluid and it's working well for now.
What would you advice me to do further, I'm not sure if it address the problem.
Thanks a lot and more power.

Elias

Thanks!! I also have a clicking-tapping electrical sound coming from the driver's side that is odd to me. Anyone have a clue what it may be?

Thank you for your video. I had the same noise problem and just went to my favorite auto part to get the o-ring getting in my case the part 91370-SV4-000 that has both o-rings (high pressure hose + reservoir hose) Replaced both and finally the noise gone. Thank you a lot!

Great video, thank you so very much Jim, such a helpful tip. By the way, I own a 2004 Nissan 350z with VQ33 DE engine. What is happening now is m is I can hear a faint noise from inside the cabin. Sounds like like it comes from the passenger side but, underneath the chassis maybe (Catalytic converter heat metal shield or Automatic transmission). Mileage is low at 70k miles. Kind of like this video https://youtu.be/r0xksoTvuME here. Can you help?? Thank you very much in advance, sincerely appreciate it!!

Mine is really loud and now it locks up when I turn. Is my situation worse than just an 0 ring? After it warms up it seems better.

jack lee says:

be sure to replace the inlet and the outlet o rings – two of them . top P # 91370-sv4-000 and the bottom 91345-RDA-A01 that connects to the fluild fill res. with top off of res tank run car turn wheel all the way left and all the way right couple of times then check fluid again fill as needed air taken out of fluid screw lid back on.

Thanks a bundle Jim, you've saved me a few bob, as we say in the old UK (a bob is slang for a shilling. Shillings have long gone but we still use the expression). Thanks again.
