My cable broke and I was dreading taking it to the dealer for the fix. I
found the roto stop cable for “about” 6 dollars and shipping 5 dollars, so
it was in the area of 12 dollars. One place wanted 12 for cable and 13 to
ship, so search for the best deal. This video is fantastic and now can I do
the repair on my own.
Certain models of Honda mowers with the Roto-Stop had been recalled in 2007
or so because of the cable breaking off at the hook end. Those owners of
such recalled mowers may want to refer to this video if they want to skip
the dealer.
