Key would not turn in my 2004 Honda Pilot. The ignition was sticking, and it turned out it was the wafers in the locking cylinder. I was able to fix it myself – saved me $300-$650 or more. In this video I show and explain the process.

Immensely helpful thank you
FUCKTON of thank yous!!!
Wouldn't a little lube or penetrating oil fix the problem that you had?
Thanks for the video. Quick and easy fix. Funny I grew up with vehicles that the key could come out while it was running. So a little nostalgia.
Make videos with some light. What the hell was the hurry, couldn't wait til day light.?? This video is virtually worthless. Greg Chaney in coastal NC
You conveniently skipped over the first roll pan which is what holds the cylinder in the ignition casing
Going to try this on my daughter's Pilot. $132 for new.
Can't get it to slide out. Watched every step
Hi, i took off the black cover where the keys go in but the cylinder wont slide out, what am I missing?
You are a life saver, thank you so much for your video!
