I need that part for my 2010 honda civic, how can I get it?
Thanks for the video. Realistically, how long does this take? On my car, the high speed is the same as the medium speed. Do you think its the motor?
if you purchase a used part, be sure to operate the part to make sure the motor is in the "parked" position before setting the triangle to to mark
This video was super helpful! My drivers side wiper was seized. Took the cowel and transmission linkage all out, disconnected the motor, got a used linkage at the wreckers and putting everything back together. I’m a girl and not mechanically inclined WHATSOEVER. This video helped A TON! Thanks
Huh I knew it they just blended 2 videos together they have a video on how to remove the cowl cover, and i saw it and you can also see the wiper blades are still on after he took them off. but hey if it makes it easier no judgment I just noticed it is all im saying.
My 07 civic’s driver side wiper always seem to leave a spot near the corner. I replaced the wiper arm once and seem to fix it but after few months, the issue is back. Do you think its the motor? Thank you
Great video. Complete. Got my daughter's wipers functioning again with a lot less trouble than it would have been to figure it out on my own.
You align everything then the arms move the gears…then you are no longer centered on resting…
Just got my wiper linkage fully reconditioned, I used this video as a full guide to take out and reinstall, fantastic video .. wipers now silent and not hitting the body of car .. thanks again.. Joe from Ireland
Great video. Clear and concise. I watched the video, disassembled, picked up the transmission and motor from a used parts store, and reinstalled again all in less than a couple of hours. One of my easier DIY jobs.
My honda city wiper slow and mid cannot move..just high..its that motor viper?
This is just what I needed. Thanks!
My blades are stuck in the up position an can't get them down what do I when I put the new motor in?
Help!!! My 1999 civic LX doesn't have the 3 marks to line it up correctly and now my wipers go down 1st instead of up and are UP in the off position! I can't find information on how to line it up correctly ANYWHERE!
10:50 my 2008 civic coupe dont have marks and lines or dot for reference. How do i put it back correctly? Thank you!
I uninstalled the old and installed the new with no issues but why are my windshield wipers going down before going up my windshield and stopping half way on the windshield? I feel as though the motor isn’t parking the assembly correctly.
Thank you for the great video! Just changed the wiper motor in my wife's Civic!
Great video.
If you manually spun the motor by mistake (or on purpose to test the assemble) and you want to bring the motor back to park, plug it back in without the assembly, run the wipers and stop them a couple times. The motor is now back in park and you can finish the job.
