Thank you for the video, quick question. I have a 3000 watt amp with a really nice quality 10inch sub in a fully loaded box I plan to put in the back of my 2017 si coupe. Would I need to get a new head unit as well or is there a way I can just use the new amp to push more power through everything?

@fullsendsports5839 says:

How much everything cost all said and done?

Just got my son 2016 Honda Civic EX it’s a nice car but I agree that the speakers in his car need to be changed!! Thank you for sharing this video! You gave me a good place to start

Is the battery supposed to be disconnected so the airbags don’t shoot out when taking the panel, or will it be fine to leave the battery on?? What did you do?

@Yova95 says:

It has the link of all the parts I buy.

My issue isn't the sound of the stock speakers, but the fit and finish is so terrible that everything rattles. Especially in the back, so i just wanted to see how I could remove it and maybe add some padding to make it shut up :./ But I have the EXL (FC1 Sedan), so thats the one thing that isn't the same as your video. I also have rear doors with speakers, but its probably the same.

@2:08 what's that car in the background?

I have a 2017 honda civic ex and bought the smaller Kicker subwoofers that you got when I first got my car. Honestly, they sounded tinny and bass wasn’t as even toned as oem no matter how I played with the settings. I got one more replacement after but I don’t remember which one, and it still sounded worse. I gave up and kept oem, sadly I’ll say I eventually got used to them. Also, I have to say that Crutchfield has awesome customer service.

@NOORSWORLD says:

I have a civic touring, does it comes with some kinda special package cuz the sound slaps on that thing. I’ve always wondered that the previous owner might’ve replaced the speakers but idk, anyone else?

Hi will this website work for 2019 civic si was wondering if the 2018 is the same sizes due to the website not having 2019 option

I have a 2014 si coupe. I’m trying to upgrade my sound system as well. I don’t want a massive sub in my trunk I just want a better improvement in the sound quality. The bass sucks and the mids could be much better. I see that you just replaced the factory sub for a aftermarket sub? How does the sub sound even if if not installed in a box?

@Sonders47 says:

I just watched this video because I was going to upgrade my speakers, would you recommend getting an AMP installed with this or was it good without an amp?

@WijaksonoHartawan says:

Thank you for the nice video,
I got question, do you need special bracket to secure the subwoofer?
Thanks

@rodgeringram8261 says:

Thanks for the video! Its excellent. You said that you would use a less powerful Sub. What Kicker Model did you use and what would you put instead? Thanks in advance!

@Wrs324 says:

Could you link the speaker mount you used for the door speaker?

@miguelalmeida4903 says:

Hello, excellent video.
I have a Honda Civic 1.5 Sport Plus, and the system has 11 speakers.
I tryed to upgrade the speakers in front and back dors, I bought the jbl stage3 627, but didn't work. I only substitute the 2 front dor, the left isn't working, and the right one sounds very bad.
Are this JBL Stage3 627 not compatible? I use the cable arnes for the connection for this model.
Please help

At 30:45, what do you mean by if we change out the deck? Do you mean the head unit or the factory amplifier?
