Entire half an hour I missed cos I was distracted by that lunch beard now I have to watch it again
Anyone know if this procedure is similar on the 2015+ civic with read drums?
Very informative. Good stuff, gents!
Thank you.
So I cant get to this one 10 mm bolt on the rear wheel cylinder for a 02 civic, I understand it's the same thing but I can't fit my 10 mm line wrench to get a better grip around the bolt and my regular 10 mm wrench just keeps slipping, I'm so frustrated
I have to do this on my 03 Ford taurus ses the damn things are leaking
The service manual says to seal the back of the cylinder housing with some silicon sealant. Keeps moisture out I guess.
Thanks sir. Great video.
Great job! You're a good teacher.
Some may laugh at all of his safety precautions, but when you’re doing this day in and out, brake dust will cause health issues. Not a bad idea to even wear a mask when doing brakes
Hi, this is a great video, now I can fix and change the wheel cylinder of my HONDA CIVIC, I have one question, should I need to start the engine when I push down the brake pedal to bleed the brake fluid out from the bleeder ? Thank you
Yeah just keep in mind if it's stuck like that there's two holes that you can put in some bolts in. I believe on the new Hondas it's a larger bolt 12×1.25
Thank you for making this quality video! Watching this gave me the confidence to work on my girlfriends car right at home. Excellent.
Bonk bonk! LOL
What is the thin, hard, black brake line called? Mine severed, as it twisted with the screw.
Thanks for the great work on this. Nice desription and great video shots/quality
Did the 1991 Honda Accord wheel cylinders come with shims originally? I bought the aftermarket, and the shoes don't seem to be lining up with the push pins. I looked at what I'm guessing is the original cylinder, and it looks like there is some kind of epoxy or something close to it on both sides of the bleeder, on BOTH wheel cylinders. THOUGHTS?
grate videi the only thing i do different is i like to use line wrenches when removing and installing wheel cylinders
Another great video. It could not have been any clearer than that. Thank you…
