The rust point shown here in this video is a COMMON problem among all CRVs. This video is instructing you to replace the entire Cat back system. Little did I know this is NOT the cheapest solution. You can buy a universal flange from any autopart store and weld it to the hanger it broke off from. This site has a great write-up. https://www.crvownersclub.com/threads/exhaust-flange-repair-writeup-2007-honda-cr-v-ex-l-navi.210244/#post-1625822
Funny my 08 rotted out in the same spot, TIP: spray alittle WD-45 on the hanger to help remove them. I never had one slide off
Do u have this item online? I need this
Same as zack frostic and Matt … I have the exact same problem with my CR-V. Is the only way to fix this to replace the whole muffler and exhaust? I was just hoping to reconnect them with a new flange or something?
What type and size of nuts bolts and washers did you replace the studs with?
…same as Zack Frostic…
I have the exact same problem with my CR-V. — especially the rusted area at the flange by the muffler–

Good video, aside from the large amounts of dents in the muffler, it was a good replacement.
