Found your video when I was looking to see how much it was gonna cost me to
get the button replaced. THANK YOU!!! Final cost was $12.89 for the
button. Did not even need my husbands help to replace it. BTW – the
2004 Accord has a collar on the shaft that holds the top piece in place
making it very easy to put it back on. Thanks again.

Demy Young says:

Thank you APDTY… I bought this part from a Honda dealership this morning
for $12.32 after tax, and they were gonna charge me $160 + tax labor to
install it.
I fixed the knob in 5 mins after watching your video. Simple and easy to
follow…

Joann Brumfield says:

OMG!!!! This video was a life saver for my son. Our regular Honda mechanic
told us by telephone that to replace the button on the shifter would costs
$60. But, this video was so detailed and easy to follow, he decided to buy
the part at the dealer (only costs $18.00 with tax) and replace it himself.
The job only took about 15 minutes and it works beautifully. So, THANK YOU
for such a great video.

Brian Clancy says:

Thank You. Great Video, helped me a lot. I did not order a new spring so
I’m thankful I did not loose or throw away my old one. My 2003 Accord had a
plastic housing piece which helped keep the metal angle component aligned
on the shifter while I slid the handle on. Made it quite a bit easier. No
fighting trying to line it up.
