Would have been nice if you talked thru the video

Henry Chavez says:

So I took the starter off my 2014 Accord sport and I saw black “dust” all inside. Would this part still be able to fix my starter or better off getting a new one?

yash manwani says:

I watched the video twice but I couldn't point to what exactly you changed/fixed. It appears that you just opened it and put it back together! What am I missing?

Android Man says:

Hi, which part# would be the correct one for a Accord EX 2014?

MrStoneycool69 says:

Brush springs should had been removed before replacing the armature, this will prevent damage to the contact brushes.

RPM Honduras says:

question, is the shaft with teeth that turns the flywheel, is it supposed to be free to turn by hand in any direction, just in one direction and stiff to the other, or unable to be turned by hand in any direction ?

dreadlock cowboy says:

I love silent videos and foot vices you rock bro aloha if the starter in anyone's CRV is working intermittently it's in an easy location to bang on that will get you through usually until you service or buy a new one

Alejandro Montoya says:

Jonathan Fasulo says:

Helpful, but it would be more helpful if he used his words.

nadie aqui nadie says:

me sirvió de mucho el video,yo mismo repare mi motor de arranque, excelente

jason cook says:

thanks for taking one apart for a 1.8 civic and recording it for us to watch, pretty sure the brushes wear down and fail to contact the armature fully once warmed, disassembly would be necessary but a brush kit and plunger kit from honda would be less than 60 bucks and made in japan and these things are a hassle to replace since on the 1.8l civic they are under the intake on the rear of the engine.
