@Turkalicious1388 says:

Put in what you took out and let it actually drain.

@davidhaney1344 says:

HCF-2 is transmission oil.. that transmission holds 3.8 quarts for the drain and fill.. There is no need to check the fluid lvl after putting 3.8 quarts back in.. and if ya take the fill plug out first, the fluid will drain properly.. and since you took the check plug.out, ya should have let that fluid stop draining cause now the transmission over filled and if ya put 4 and a half quarts in, its probably going to start leakimg at the cv axle seals.. I've been a Honda tech since 2012

@ssnerd583 says:

……cvt's are junk.

@ukelilly says:

how often do you need to do this on a Toyota Cross ? thx

@Redheadedwizard says:

CV ts are junk, no matter what. It's in stop buying these vehicles with these junk transmissions you didn't have to do anything to the older transmission, and they would lash the life of the vehicle. Money pit cVT's are a money pit

@ragaraga9399 says:

My 2017 Toyota highlander the dealer said its lifetime no need to change the CVT transmission fluid .. Toyota extended all similar warranty for 10 yrs, should I go and demand they change it?

@Jack-v5e3m says:

This is why I stopped buying Honda's

@romeo1550 says:

Not a Honda question but it is CVT related. 2017 Ford C-Max hybrid. Will using Valvoline CVT fluid be okay in the eCVT found in the C-Max?

@lashlarue59 says:

There's not a transmission dipstick on those cars?

@jamesunknown6016 says:

Forgot the CVT Filter must change

@frnktdmn1937 says:

what milage is recommended in manual? How many miles on this 2017 CRV

@joelark2007 says:

Nissan CVT trans service is beyond stupid

@jasonzwart2316 says:

Can you show us a video on a Subaru Forrester 2017-ish very informative as always

@deankruse4491 says:

“Pit” it in

@skylee5029 says:

Tell me about my 2014 Toyota Corolla’s CVT

@Trent-d4x says:

I heard that you don't drain transmissions all of the way during a transmission service because it prevents future transmission service from being effective 🙂

@mikeholt3545 says:

There's no saving that junk

@Peter-f4o4z says:

That's why Honda is viewed poorly now since they use CVT transmissions, the old Honda's never had them and Nissan get bad reviews for using them and a slump in sales. I have diesel engine Mazda 6, bullet proof except that they didn't have temp gauge fitted you don't know your car is overheating until it goes into limp mode and your cylinder head gasket blows or worse your cylinder head cracks, it's probably a good idea to change your thermostat every 5 years with your long life coolant, cheap insurance.

@ricocoman says:

No filter changes? My 2018 rouge has 2 of them for tranny. That's like taking a crap and not wiping.
