Today, I’ll show you how to install a Trunk Opener Spring / Trunk Rod / Trunk Torsion Bar, or whatever you’d like to call it! We’ll also be installing the Trunk Spring Retention Clip! Let us knock both of these jobs at once, in just a few minutes!

Thansk GT, @1.06 where I stuck, anybody khow any video how install that clip, tried to follow you words : install first motor side then twist and clip back side.But someting didn't work. Should put this little cross bar down to make it clip ? Tx M
What happens if you donโt have either of these bars?
Thanks GT, I had to replace one of my torsion rods and this showed me how to do it. I couldn't do it using the vice grips so I ended up using a pair of tongue and groove pliers and that got it done.
Thank you for making the video! I had the exact same part fail. The vice grips worked for me.
