We do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular repair. If
you have soldered the wires back together, you should be okay.
You will have to follow the instructions just like the video shows.

hi, the door latch assembly is broken so we cant open the rear door. Is
there anyway we can remove the panel without opening the rear door or is
best to just give it to an auto shop at this point?

To remove the door with the door closed can be very difficult. You might
want to bring it to a mechanic to see if they can get the panel off.
The handle can be removed by taking out the screws you saw in the video and
then prying it away from the door panel.
