In this video I’ll be installing the brake pads in my 2017 Honda Civic Type R (FK8). Since they are Brembo brakes, it’s very easy and really doesn’t take much time to replace the brake pads.

Hi mate. Should you not have bled them afterwards or is it not necessary for pad replacement? You mentioned bleeding brakes is there a video for that? Or is the brake pressure enough to just bleed the nipples without any tubes on the calipers?
Are these aftermarket shims or did they come with the brake pads?
du bist aber auch ein Murckser
great elias and thank u
Dude your videos are amazing. Saving me lot of money, doing the things myself instead of going to a autoshop that will rip me off.
when you changed your pads. You didn't bother resurface the rotors??
Link to the pads?
awesome video! very helpful! now I can change my pads lol
@flyingato Did u use the metallic or ceramic duralast max pads???
THESE aren't even OEM :C
The wheels on that type r are terrible, the originals are so much nicer
Can you show or make a video about how to replace the front brake rotor of FK8? thanks
Pay all that money for a front wheel drive? Yuck!
Hi, I recently changed pads on my 2017 type r front were a breeze. When I changed rear pads now I get brake hold and e brake problem indication on dash. Any advice before I take to dealer will be greatly appreciated.
Do you have a link to where you order your Brembo Brakes? I need rear brakes for my Type R, and I go onto tire rack and say they do not fit my car.
Thanks
