Hey Sam, as usual, great info and video. Did you use a sand blasting gun to clean the holes the spot welds? Also, I may have asked you this before, is there a risk of the frame separating after you remove the rad support? And if so, how would you close it up again to weld the new support?
I'm a rookie on all these spot welding body repair stuff. Is there a reason you don't just drill a hole and put in a bolt to hold it? Then if you made an alignment mistake you can go back to zero point? Well done video. 🙂
Hey im actually doing the same thing to my civic but when i put the fenders on the car and once they are screwed into the radiator support and i let down the hood it doesnt line up with the latch and on my driver side fender it touches the hood so there basically no gap while on my passenger side i have about 1/2 to 1 inch gap from hood to fender. My passenger side headlight fits perfectly and line up good with the fender and screws in good with my radiator support but my driver side headlights just doesnt line up with the fender or the radiator support. Do you have any idea on what i may have to tweak so i can fix this problem?

I thought the whole point of weld-through primer was that you could, you know, weld through it…
That spot blaster is slick.
Where are you located? Happen to be in Dallas?

Where did you order the replacement parts from?
The glass insert right above your side mirrors do you know the correct name, want to cover up mine on 08 civic and put my aftermarket side mirrors on.
Great vid bro..you should make a video how you made that tool!!
will the car react the same in a crash? with the non factory wells?
I always clip the mig wire when I start a new weld too. Seems to make the arc start faster and smoother for me. Helps tons for butt welds too
