Not only do my lights not work, but there is no sound coming from the radio
and CD player whatsoever. Will this fix that too?
Mr. Payne, you are the bomb! Your instructions could not be more clear and
detailed, and I now have a working backlight as a result. Thanks ever so
much for this. I’d like to buy you a case of beer.
Mine does this too! Thanks so much I’m going to try this…..
I watched all three parts and have to say it was really pretty easy. Thank
you for sharing your knowledge. A $300 repair only cost me $25,
Thanks for video! This was the best! It worked great!
Followed this video to repair the radio back light. The radio control
lights now work, but not the radio lights. The bigger problem is the radio
and climate control lights will not go off. Any ideas why?
Hi, I went through alot just to pry open every screws only to find that the
model is different! Mine is a single cd player and a 2003 dx. Do you have
an idea of how to fix it? I wish I could share the pics with you. Thanks!
My A/c works though
This was a great help. Thanks for posting it. I just put in a Blue tooth
device for my wifes car and it is so much faster knowing where all the tie
down tabs are. Did not have to repair the radio – luckily.
This saved me lots of headaches and money! Thanks for posting. The hardest
part for me was popping off the front edge of the dash piece covering the
top of the radio. I resorted to wedging the sharp end of a paring knife in
the crack to open it up just a bit, then sliding the large trim tool to pop
it off. Just had to make sure to work along the dull side of the knife to
avoid an ER visit.
My 2004 accord don’t have the to screws in the no ashtray ?
this is brilliant! thank you
Thanks a lot man!!! It worked! Thanks a lot again, you saved me lots of
money!!
Thank you so much for the videos; they help me fixing the back-light on my
car
My stereo is working fine, but the back illumination stays on all the time.
and kills the battery. has anyone seen this before and is there a fix. I
have pulled the radio fuse.
to remove the air vents on top its super easy, all you have to do is stick
your fingers or something in the vents and pull forward twards you and it
comes off really easy without any damage to anything.
