So I have a question I have a 2005 Tahoe and when I go to start the vehicle I have to press the gas for it to start it ends up telling me that it has low oil pressure I had someone replace the oil pump and the spark plugs but it didn't fix it what could it be

Really dawg, U WILL HEAR AN AIR SOUND??? U MEAN U WILL HEAR A VACUUM LINE LEAK, ITS PULLING A VACUUM NOT PULLING AIR OR BLOWING OUT AIR

@theofficialdiamondlou2418 says:

For those wondering that line goes to the “fuel pressure regulator “ ..

I was about to open fire with the parts cannon to do battle with the dreaded P0300 code, and it was going to get ugly and expensive. It also would not have solved my issue. Thanks for making this video.

@jesse.jsmall0652 says:

My 2005 must have a different vacuum setup it’s not there

@MeatyGoulash says:

I think this can cause long starts too right ?

@joshuarivera7622 says:

That's ur fuel pressure regulator. It will run bad because fuel isn't regulated

@hauler9133 says:

Exactly that was my problem
Its 2015 6.0 pump design is a little different but when i look at it there was a circle whole in middle of pimp i put my finger to close it and engine was running 100 percent different
Thanks for posting it

I will say I've done 2 tune ups (plugs and wires) within the past 2 years, have changed out all the O2 sensors, mass air flow sensor, fuel pressure regulator, and still had issues with my 01 tahoe idleling real low, shaking and turning off while at a stop light. I just learned it could be an air leak and this video confirmed it. Thanks for posting.

@lolocrew4970 says:

What’s the part number

@juanbelloso9991 says:

@mickieknox4086 says:

@gustavomartinez324 says:

What is the part called so I can order it

@artiechadwick8140 says:

I haven't even read the comments yet but that's a very important part that your fuel pressure regulator that's why I was running like crap I'm surprised you weren't sucking up gas like crazy if your car is I'm running like crap and you pull that off and it's wet air fuel pressure regulator is no good which would make it run like crap too not to mention use excessive gas

@Sno7373anon says:

Thanks for sharing brother!

@chundymungus677 says:

It runs down to the fuel pressure regulator

@brandonmathis7860 says:

Same, mine was dry rotted at the elbow. Quick $10 replacement and it runs great now. Thanks
