Thank you thank you thank you this was a life saver!! Had this exact
problem on my 2011 silverado Z71 but I was at the hunting camp 3 hrs from
home, and was able to change the oil filter and it fixed the problem

I just had the same problem with my 2010 chevy silverado 1500 the oils
pressure drop while driving down the road. That sucked I was heading to
work at night no one to call . I looked up you tube and came across your
posting after listening to your post and the truck cooling down a bit i
started it back up and the oil pressure went back up so I turned the truck
around and headed home until it dropped again then repeated what I sayed
earlier this time made it home changed the oil and filter and it was
holding at 40 psi . I would like to thank you for the post and ask you what
filter did you have on when that happens?

I have 06 gmc envoy Denali,and i’ve had the same issue. I changed the oil
sensor no results,but after watching this video,changed the oil filter,
sure enough pressure went to normal. Thanx for this video you saved me a
ton of money and time!!! ;)
