They make line wrenchs specificly for that so you don't crush your lines.

Thanks for the video . I did the same but my wheel cylinder is not moving at all removed two bolts with the bleeder and disconnected the line it's stuck tried to hit it with rubber hammer didn't work im afraid to break something so im stuck any help ? C1500 suberban 99 RWD

Why would you not want to use locking pliers instead of wire pliers to close off the rubber brake hose? I imagine if you’re careful to not over tighten, it should be fine right?
